How do we select our weekly menus?
We appreciate that the majority of our customers are depending on us for tiffins weekly and we don’t take that responsibility lightly. Selecting dishes for the weekly tiffin menu is no easy feat – multiple factors are taken into consideration such as market availability, the weather, what was on the menu the week prior, and ultimately getting to a homely balance of subzis.

For this week’s tiffin menu (12/30 – 1/4) we’ll highlight the following –

Malai Paneer: A homage to the “malai” style gravy – think of malai kofta minus the kofta ?. It’s slightly sweet, nutty. Creamy, loaded with paneer cubes, and topped with crushed paneer. Perfect for New Year’s Eve gatherings and treating yourself to an indulgent (but healthy!) meal. What makes our malai paneer healthier is that you won’t see an inch of oil floating a-top, any “eggshell” shade food color, and, as always, we go very easy on the cream (less than 1 ounce per container) – indulge away!

Sarsoon ka Saag: The quintessential winter food of North India – blended mustard greens, onions, and tomatoes. We’ll typically have sarsoon at least a few times before the end of the winter. Once blanched, mustard greens tend to have a darker color than spinach, this is traditionally softened by adding copious amount of butter and/or cream to lighten up the color, however, we embrace the natural color and keep this dish vegan.
